It has been officially a week since I made a promise to myself and I’m feeling pretty good about it all. Now, there was a pretty major set back this weekend. We lost our heat early Saturday morning and we didn’t get it back until Sunday afternoon. There was no way I was going to work out in 50 degree temperature in our basement. I’m sorry, but I do have some limits as to how I’m going to work out.
I’m not going to take all weekends off, but I am giving myself a pass for this pass weekend. Eli had to sleep in our room which means he also slept in our bed with us. That meant I got like no rest so we went to bed fairly early Sunday night. I’m glad I did because I felt great this morning (except that my husband woke me up earlier than normal)!
However, I’m glad I’m doing this blog post. It helps me keep my promise. For anyone who says they don’t like working out…seriously try it. It really makes you feel better about yourself in more ways than one. 😉
Now that I’ve finished my workout for the evening, it’s time for me to enjoy my Monday night with my hubby watching Monday Night Raw.
PS – Eli has figured out how to stand up in his crib this evening. Yay for us. He’ll be walking before we know it.
